We are working with a leading global technology / social media platform that is looking to hire an experienced disputes lawyer to join its legal team on an interim basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent transition. The Role
You will work closely with senior members of the legal team, managing a varied caseload of contentious matters, including commercial disputes, regulatory issues, and platform-related litigation. The work is intellectually challenging and often high stakes, requiring sound judgment and the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting a portfolio of UK and EU litigation and disputes
- Coordinating with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Advising internal stakeholders on risk, strategy, and dispute resolution
- Supporting on regulatory and contentious issues impacting a large-scale digital platform
- Collaborating cross-functionally with business and operational teams
Candidate Profile
- UK-qualified lawyer with 5–8 years’ PQE
- Strong background in commercial litigation / disputes from a leading law firm or in-house team
- Excellent technical legal skills and strategic thinking
- Experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Prior technology or social media sector experience helpful but not essential for this role.
