We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Form Grinder for our client who are a globally recognised machining organisation, manufacturing high precision EDM components for the aerospace industry based in Wednesbury (WS10 8BL).
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00am - 16:30pm
Salary: Β£15 - Β£16 an hour.
You will be working within a high-pressure machining environment, meeting deadlines and using your initiative to overcome problems, resolving production issues. Under certain circumstances, overtime and extra hours may be required to complete the task at hand and keep production flowing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with Jones & Shipman Format 5 CNC surface grinders
- Experience on Jones & Shipman X & E surface grinders would be an advantage.
- Must be capable of reading engineering drawings.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
