My Telford-based client is currently recruiting for a Yard Person on Nights. The role involves operating as an FLT Driver on a fixed-term contract until Easter 2026.
Shift Pattern: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Working hours: 07:30pm – 19:30am
Responsibilities – Yard Person:
- Unloading lorries using a forklift
- Stacking and storing products into the warehouse
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Following health and safety guidelines
Skills and Experience – Yard Person:
- Observant with excellent attention to detail
- FLT Counterbalance license
- Ability to escalate issues when problems occur
- Proactive and goal-oriented
- Good communication skills for team interaction
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
