The Role
You will be responsible for the assembly, wiring and testing of electrical control panels, cabinets and associated equipment to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Panel wiring and electrical assembly work.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Installation of electrical components and sub-assemblies.
- Cable preparation, termination and routing.
- Electrical testing and fault finding.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter or Electrical Assembler.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience of panel building and electrical assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds, Military Electrical Trade Qualification or equivalent electrical qualification preferred.
