I am currently recruiting for a Control Panel Wireman for an Engineering company in the Hebburn area. Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Wiring and assembly of components for industrial machinery up to control cabinets and panels.
  • Crimping, routing and cable terminating work on control panels.
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematic wiring accordingly.
  • Mechanical assembly.
  • Electrical assembly.
  • Use of hand tools.

The Candidate

To be successful in the role of Panel Wirer you will have the following:

  • Experience with point-to-point wiring.
  • Cable end termination experience (Crimping/soldering).
  • Ability to understand and manufacture to GA and schematic drawings.
  • Control panel wiring experience.
  • Cable routing.
  • Experience of electrical assembling and wiring of control panels.
  • Ability to act as a stand-alone operator on any given project.

The following experience is desirable but not essential:

  • Manufacturing to IPC Class 3 standard.
  • Prototype and development wiring experience.
  • Basic testing experience.
