We're working with a well-established engineering manufacturing organisation based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a talented Production Scheduler to join their growing operations team.
As a Production Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth production flow, efficient use of materials and resources, and on-time delivery for both UK and export shipping orders. The Role - Production Scheduler
- Plan, coordinate and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines
- Liaise closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure workflow efficiency
- Oversee export shipping documentation and dispatch schedules for international customers
- Update and maintain production data and stock movements using Sage
- Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and take proactive steps to resolve them
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production and logistics function
About You
- Previous experience as a Production Scheduler, Production Planner, or similar role in an engineering or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of Sage (or similar ERP/MRP system)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Understanding of export processes and documentation
- Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and deadlines
Hours & Package
- Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary: Β£28,000 - Β£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Permanent, full-time position
