Our engineering client based in Halifax is looking to recruit a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to work in a high-quality manufacturing environment building and calibrating precision instruments and equipment.

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and calibrating products to ensure the highest standards of quality are consistently achieved. The Electro-Mechanical Technician will work closely with internal departments to support production, quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and assemble mechanical and electrical components to produce high-quality instruments.
  • Calibrate equipment and ensure all products meet strict quality standards and procedures.
  • Follow ISO quality processes and ensure measurement equipment is used correctly.
  • Complete documentation including quality plans, NCRs and system updates accurately.
  • Install and verify correct software revisions where required.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, planning, distribution and service teams.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the department.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping, health and safety, and working practices.
