An established and highly regarded precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Power Mill Programmer to join its growing machining team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Miller / Power Mill Programmer to work on a variety of complex, high-precision components across multiple industry sectors, using advanced CNC machining technology within a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role

  • Offline programming using Autodesk Power Mill
  • Setting and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Producing complex components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD data
  • Selecting tooling and optimising machining strategies
  • Conducting in-process inspection and quality checks
  • Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality components
  • Candidate Requirements

• The successful CNC Miller / Power Mill Programmer will have

  • Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Operator
  • Strong knowledge of Power Mill CAM software
  • Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining
  • Ability to program, set and operate CNC milling machines independently
  • Experience machining a range of materials
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and quality standards
  • Prototype, tooling, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering experience would be advantageous

  • £18.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
