The Role: As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will undertake a 12-month development programme that provides comprehensive operational, service, and leadership training to prepare you for a future Store Manager role. You will work through the career pathway training with support from your Store Manager, setting you up for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be an ambassador for your store, supporting the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.
- Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and improving KPI metrics.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Offer a VIP concierge service, keeping customers updated on products and tastings.
- Promote our range passionately, manage tasting events, and execute an enticing tasting counter.
- Enhance your wine knowledge to support your WSET qualification and sales confidence.
- Maintain the store's appearance both internally and externally.
- Participate in operational tasks, including stock deliveries, merchandising, and customer outreach.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and safety regulations.
- Take ownership of personal development and support junior team members.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Passion for wine and willingness to achieve WSET levels 2 & 3.
- Valid full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
