The Role

As a Trainee Manager at Majestic, you will support your Store Manager in driving sales and managing daily store operations. You’ll deliver exceptional customer experiences and optimise KPI performance, while supporting your team to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support your Store Manager in daily operations and performance management.
  • Drive sales and optimise KPIs by identifying focus areas and implementing improvement plans.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Offer personalized VIP concierge services, including product updates and tastings.
  • Promote the story of our products through tastings and product knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in recruitment, management, and development of team members.
  • Support team members’ product knowledge and qualification progress, including WSET qualifications.
  • Maintain the store’s appearance and ensure compliance with safety and legal standards.
  • Identify operational improvements and implement them.
  • Follow internal policies and complete mandatory training.
  • Communicate store, regional, and business updates effectively.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Understanding of retail KPIs and performance improvement strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • WSET Level 2 qualification is essential; willingness to pursue WSET Level 3.
  • Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
