The Role
As a Majestic Wine Driver, you will meet and talk to different customers every day. It’s more than just driving – you will manage the end‑to‑end delivery process and act as an ambassador for the store, supporting the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.
Job Specifics
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Banbury OX16 5NU
- Hours: 12 Hours Per Week
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings
- Driving is a key part of this position – a full UK manual driver’s licence held for at least 12 months is required
Key Responsibilities
- Be the face of Majestic to delivery customers, ensuring excellent customer service and experience
- Pick deliveries and load the van
- Maintain the van to a high standard, ensuring it is clean and all compliance checks are carried out on time
- Deliver goods to customers’ homes, workplaces or venues with a smile and a helpful attitude (including flights of stairs)
- Communicate clearly with customers to book deliveries and provide updates on delivery time slots
- Find ways to be more efficient during driving time, understanding the cost impact of inefficient delivery runs
- Serve as an ambassador for Majestic while driving – drive confidently and safely
