Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant/Driver, you will boost sales and ensure the smooth operation of the store. Your mission is to help customers discover and buy wines, beers, and spirits they will love this Christmas.
Job Specifics
- Contract: Fixed-Term (ending 29th December 2025)
- Hours: 24 Hours Per Week
- Need to work weekends and evenings
- Must hold a full UK manual driver’s licence (12+ months, 0-6 penalty points)
- Driving a company van is essential
Key Responsibilities
- Drive store performance by embracing sales opportunities and exceeding targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Share passion for products with customers.
- Maintain store's impeccable appearance.
- Assist in day-to-day operational tasks: delivering wine in vans, merchandising stock, calling customers to drive sales opportunities.
- Ensure safe operation by following internal policies and training.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated, able to thrive working alone and as part of a team.
- Can-do attitude with knack for solving challenges.
- Adaptable and resilient to meet changing demands.
- Wine, beer & spirits knowledge a plus; passion for learning essential.
- Full manual UK driving licence for at least 12 months, no more than 6 penalty points.
