An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well established residential developer delivering high quality housing developments across the Midlands.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered commercially, building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and operational teams while identifying opportunities to maximise project profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the commercial performance of multiple residential developments.
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
- Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management.
- Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Managing subcontractor accounts and contractual matters.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Housebuilding experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cost reporting, procurement and subcontractor management.
- Experience preparing valuations and final accounts
- Full UK driving licence.
