Salary

We're recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor delivering high profile commercial and industrial construction projects across the Midlands.

Working alongside an established commercial team, you'll manage projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring commercial performance and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for delivering complex, high-quality construction schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement of subcontractor packages.
  • Managing subcontractor accounts.
  • Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Commercial risk management.
  • Supporting project delivery teams.
  • Ensuring projects remain commercially successful.

About You

You’ll ideally have

  • Experience working for a main contractor.
  • Commercial build experience.
  • Strong NEC and/or JCT knowledge.
  • Experience with procurement and cost reporting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
