We are delighted to be supporting anational housebuilder with the recruitment of an experienced Sales Progressor to be based at their Exeter office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially focused property professional to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of new home sales from reservation through to legal completion.

The Role

As Sales Progressor, you will take responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the sales progression process, working closely with purchasers, Sales Consultants, solicitors, financial advisers and estate agents.

You will ensure that sales progress efficiently through the legal process, while maintaining excellent levels of customer service and delivering key targets and timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the progression of new home sales from reservation through to legal completion.
  • Liaise regularly with purchasers, solicitors, financial representatives, estate agents and internal Sales teams.
  • Work closely with legal and financial representatives to ensure a smooth and trouble-free sales process.
  • Obtain clear and up-to-date information from estate agents and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on sales progress against forecasts and targets.
  • Ensure sales contracts are progressed and delivered within prescribed timescales.
  • Work to monthly budgets and forecasts.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and provide relevant sales progression updates.
  • Manage a significant workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience within new home sales progression, conveyancing, estate agency or a related residential property environment.

You will ideally have

  • A strong understanding of the residential house sales and conveyancing process.
  • Experience working with legal terminology and legal representatives.
  • Previous experience of plot or sales progression through to legal completion.
  • Experience managing a high-volume workload.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
