We are supporting a respected developer in their recruitment for a Customer Care Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards in residential construction.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a professional, positive, and responsive aftersales service to homeowners. You will act as a central point of coordination to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer defects are addressed within agreed timescales
  • Coordinate and oversee remedial works from specification through to completion
  • Appoint and manage subcontractors, monitoring quality and performance
  • Conduct property handovers, pre-sale inspections, and 12-month defect inspections
  • Promote cost control and adherence to contractual procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all customer interactions and works
  • Produce and submit progress reports to management
  • Support continuous improvement in customer satisfaction ratings

About You

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident negotiator with the ability to manage challenging situations
  • Calm, professional, and patient when handling customer concerns or complaints
  • Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to assess technical and commercial issues and make informed decisions
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
  • Ideally, some technical knowledge of housebuilding (e.g. electrical, plumbing, defect diagnosis and remedial works)

Our client is offering a basic salary of between £27,800 and £30,000 (depending on experience) plus annual performance bonus.
