We are currently supporting a popular National Developer in their recruitment for an experienced Roving Sales Consultant to cover developments located in Bristol, Gloucestershire, and Chippenham. As a Roving Sales Consultant, you will need to have a flexible approach as you will be expected to ensure seamless sales operations across multiple developments. Supporting the sales team and helping to maintain sales momentum by providing excellent sales support and customer service wherever needed.
You will fill in for primary sales consultants who are away from site when on vacation or when a development requires extra support. You are responsible for the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-completion customer care. Negotiating the sale of houses on your development, you’ll advise customers on properties, house type specifications as well as guide them through the buying process. You will have sales targets to meet and reservations and legal completions will need to be achieved within set timescales.
The role involves regular liaison with purchasers, construction teams, financial advisors, solicitors, and estate agents.
Essential skills:
- Experience of sales in the new house building market.
- Proven sales skills and effective negotiation skills.
- Highly adaptable - able to quickly learn about new developments and house types.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive and target-driven attitude to sales with excellent self-motivation.
- Full Driving Licence.
Please note the working week for this role is Thursday to Monday, so you will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays with one in four weekends off.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Our client is offering a basic salary of £30,000 plus an attractive benefits package that includes commission, mileage, 25 days holiday (plus time off in lieu for Bank Holidays), pension, life assurance, sharesave scheme, and access to various lifestyle/retail discounts.
