M&E Project Manager in Canary Wharf

M&E Project Manager – Data Centre Project – East London We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the electrical package on a data centre project in East London, working alongside a well-established M&E Contractor. This is a site-based role (in site office) managing electrical installations through to commissioning and handover on a fast-paced, technically demanding project. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage the electrical package from pre-construction through to completion * Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and programme requirements * Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards * Attend and lead site meetings with the client, consultants, and subcontractors * Manage RAMS, technical submittals, RFIs, and progress reporting * Liaise closely with mechanical teams to ensure smooth coordination across all services * Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards * Support commissioning activities and final project handover Requirements: * Proven experience working as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale commercial or industrial projects * Previous data centre experience would be highly advantageous * Strong electrical background with good understanding of mechanical services * Experience working for M&E Contractors * Ability to manage programme deadlines and coordinate multiple trades on site The successful candidate will be joining a busy project team on a high-profile development with an immediate start available
