WHAT YOU WILL DO

As QC Technician you will report to the Site Manager. In this capacity, you will perform laboratory testing and quality control activities to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. You will support safe laboratory operations, maintain compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Your most critical deliverables for this role are:

  • Follow QC procedures and perform required product testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment in a clean, safe and fully operational condition.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including LOTO requirements and the proper use of machine safeguards.
  • Report equipment faults and quality issues promptly through the appropriate processes.
  • Participate to the troubleshooting in case of quality deviation.
  • Support product quality, customer satisfaction and site performance through accurate testing and reporting.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) records and laboratory documentation in applicable systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with Production, Warehouse, QSE, Sales and other site functions.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities within the Quality Control function.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Quality Control, or equivalent relevant qualification/background.
  • Previous experience in a Quality Control function.
  • Knowledge and working practice in the plastics/ masterbatch industry.
  • Strong organization, multitasking, prioritization and attention to detail.
  • Good IT and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, with supervision.
  • Collaborative, ethical, adaptable, safety-focused and solution-oriented mindset.

You must be within commutable distance of Telford and must not require any form of visa sponsorship.
