Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa – Eynsham Baths – 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our team. The on-target earning potential for this role is £32,150 per annum based on a 40-hour contract – comprising a base salary of £29,150, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient frontline support across a wide range of HR activities.
  • Keep our people systems running smoothly.
  • Help deliver meaningful colleague experiences.
  • Play an important role in maintaining compliance and operational excellence across the People & Culture team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for colleague queries and deliver high-quality administrative assistance.
  • Prepare HR documentation, coordinate colleague experience activities, and manage benefits communication.
  • Lead the smooth running of onboarding and offboarding, including system setup, orientation logistics, compliance checks, leaver documentation, and accurate HRIS updates.
  • Maintain our digital people systems – overseeing Ask Joy, managing HRIS records, supporting reporting cycles, updating eLearning and appraisal platforms, and ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met, from DBS and safeguarding checks to Right to Work monitoring and safer-recruitment processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by streamlining processes and supporting wider P&C projects.
  • Embodiment of Estelle Manor’s values, maintaining high standards of professionalism, collaborating effectively with all departments, and taking a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at pace.
  • Proven experience in an administration role in a fast-paced organisation with a HR administrative background preferable.
  • A proactive, people-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence handling confidential information with professionalism.
  • Experience in HR administration or a transferable administrative background.
  • Comfort using HRIS systems, workflows and digital communication tools.
  • A collaborative approach with a desire to contribute to an outstanding colleague experience.
