Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa - Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are looking for a Commis Waiter to join our dynamic Events team. The on target earning potential for our Commis Waiter role is £29,620.86 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising of a base salary of £25,460.86, plus a qualified estimate of £4,000 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Our Commis Waiters at Estelle Manor will be required to set up and break down event spaces and tables, ensure mise en place is ready for and throughout service. You will also assist in both serving and removing dishes and items from tables, generally preempting the waiters' needs to ensure a high standard of service can be provided for our members and guests.

About gratuities & service charge: Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional discretionary service charge added to guests and members restaurant bill across our estate is passed directly to our employees) is paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. It is estimated that in 2025, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £4,000 in addition to their annual salary.
