Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are looking for a charismatic Commis Chef to join our Glasshouse kitchen here at Estelle Manor. The on target earning potential for this role is £34,493.47 per annum based on a 45 hour contract – comprising a base salary of £28,643.47 plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

Details of the role:

  • You will be assisting in the food preparation for our Brasserie, Glasshouse Restaurant, Chinese speciality restaurant, Members Club private restaurant or In Room Dining.
  • Setting and maintaining high standards and demonstrating attention to detail in the preparation of all dishes.
  • Delivering delicious food and drink, being the heart of what we do.
  • With a focus on simple dishes, using high quality ingredients throughout our menus, delivering service that delights.
  • Supporting the senior team in delivering high quality, memorable food to all of our guests and members.
  • Assisting the kitchen's senior leadership in managing all food health and safety related standards.
