What you will do: The key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Head Bartender in managing day-to-day operations and activities within the Bars ensuring the team deliver an exceptional hosted experience for our members.
- Assuming responsibility of the bar when the Head Bartender is unavailable or not on shift.
- Assisting in supporting and developing the knowledge and skills of Junior Bartenders and Barbacks.
- Liaising between departments and representative of the Bar Department.
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for our members.
- Participating in the creation of new menus and various beverage offerings.
- Undergoing periodical cocktail spec test and product knowledge when required.
- Ensuring the bar is set up and closed accurately and on time; cleaned, restocked, garnishes and all mise en place and relevant batching prepared and ready on time.
- Informing members and floor teams of our beverage offerings, including any changes to the menus and items out of stock.
- Ensuring all items are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware and in the correct manner, following closely all Maison Estelle specs for signatures and classics.
- Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
- Establishing relationships with our members, being aware of their preferences and catering service to those.
- Demonstrating a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie.
Who we are looking for: Proven experience on the beverage departments in a luxury / lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation. Stays up to date with current beverage trends and best practices. Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club. Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members. A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
