Maison Estelle is a private members’ club set in a Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse on Grafton Street, Mayfair. A ‘hosted home’, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove. A new school club (no rules), with old school values of personalised service and discretion.
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate People & Culture professional to join the team supporting Maison Estelle and Celeste, two of London’s most distinctive private members’ clubs. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the colleague experience across both clubs, partnering with leaders and teams to create a culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired. From employee relations and development to wellbeing, engagement and talent, you’ll help bring our Hosted Home philosophy to life and ensure our people experience the same exceptional level of care that we offer our members.
What you will do:
- Lead and support the People & Culture team across the full colleague journey, from attraction and recruitment through to onboarding, development, wellbeing and retention.
- Be a trusted first point of contact for colleagues and managers, providing practical and people-focused advice.
- Partner with managers and senior leaders on employee relations, employment law and people matters.
- Champion our values and culture, ensuring they are brought to life throughout the colleague experience.
- Oversee People & Culture policies, procedures, compliance, right to work, payroll and people reporting.
- Monitor key people data including turnover, retention, absence and engagement, using insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Champion colleague wellbeing, engagement, recognition and communication, supporting events, initiatives and celebrations.
- Build strong relationships across the hotel and club, working collaboratively with teams at every level.
- Lead, coach and develop your team, creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing People & Culture function.
- Continually look for ways to improve our people processes, efficiency and colleague experience.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a People & Culture, HR or HR Manager role, ideally within luxury hospitality, hotels, clubs or a high-touch service environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing a team.
- A genuine passion for people, culture and creating an exceptional colleague experience.
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to challenge and influence when needed.
- Strong attention to detail across compliance, payroll, reporting and people processes.
- A warm, approachable and commercially minded style, with the ability to build trust at every level.

The on-target earning potential for this role is £62,200 per annum - comprising a base salary of £61,000 plus a qualified estimate of £1,200 in gratuities and service charge.
