Maison Estelle is a private members’ club set in a Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse on Grafton Street, Mayfair. A ‘hosted home’, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove. A new school club (no rules), with old school values of personalised service and discretion.
Your primary function is to provide leadership, management, and oversee operations for the Nightlife teams. You are committed and proactive and will promote and grow the business, hire and train new starters, and ensure that Maison Estelle members are receiving excellent service.

Compensation: The on target earning potential for this role is £55,620 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £36,900 plus a qualified estimate of £18,720 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

What you will do:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and activities within the Parlour and Basement ensuring the team deliver an exceptional hosted experience for our members.
- Review sales and beverage costs and GP’s, and reconcile any discrepancies in accounting.
- Liaise with Reservation Depts & host teams to ensure a maximised & cohesive member journey throughout the club.
- Build strong relationships with members & help curate a maximised experience through the club.
- Set a good example for the team with regard to punctuality, attendance, attitude and hygiene and ensure that high standards are maintained at all times.
- Ensure that an effective table reservation system is being used effectively to maximise revenue.
- Assist in menu planning and pricing and deliver a rich programme of events and original unique selling points which keep our members coming back.
- Proactively manage any member complaints ensuring we follow up so that our members and their guests leave happy with a positive lasting impression.
- Participate and input towards food and beverage activities helping to build and deliver innovative activations for Maison Estelle.
- Maintain all department control procedures to ensure the safe delivery of all food and beverage related products in line with UK food safety and health and safety legislation.
- Be an ambassador for Maison Estelle as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams both when at work and when not.
- Hold Parlour and Basement department meetings and attend club-wide meetings.
- Offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team.
- Ensure that the reservations and CRM system is updated with members individual preferences.
- Oversee creation and development of all training for your team and make sure all colleagues attend training.
- Create a working environment in which colleagues can be themselves and are able to thrive.
- Motivate your team and colleagues to come up with creative ideas and unique membership experiences.
- Have good communication skills and proficiently liaise with all departments on an ongoing basis retaining close and professional relationships.
- Empower colleagues to provide excellent service for both internal and external guests.
- As part of the Management team, deliver the Senior Leadership Teams vision for the direction and strategy for the whole club in line with the company’s expectations.
- Be responsible for effective people practices including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement, performance and experience.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience managing an operation in a luxury / lifestyle food and beverage operation.
- You are an inspiring leader who relishes taking responsibility for running a late-night operation.
- Confident in using purchasing, health and safety and food safety, payroll and rota systems.
- Stays up to date with current industry trends and best practices.
- Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
