Maison Estelle is a private club set in a Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse on Grafton Street, Mayfair. A hosted home, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove. A new school club (no rules), with old school values of personalised service and discretion.

The Assistant General Manager's primary function is to support the HOD with providing leadership, management, oversee budget and operations for our nightlife concepts. They will ensure smooth operational running of the outlets ensuring the team deliver an excellent and memorable experience for our members. You should uphold the highest standards and ensure the guest experience is always in line with our standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations and activities within the Nightlife & roof terrace areas, ensuring the team deliver an exceptional hosted experience for our members and their guests.
  • Lead the team by example, adopting a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
  • Alongside the HOD, holding the club's vision for the company and supporting in the development of innovative menus in line with our standards.
  • Ensuring that an effective table reservation system is in operation and being used effectively to maximise revenue.
  • Ensure that the reservations and CRM system is updated with members' individual preferences.
  • Achieving budgeted food and drink cost, sales, stock, labour costs and profitability.
  • Create a working environment in which colleagues can be themselves and are able to thrive.
  • Motivate your team and colleagues to come up with creative ideas and unique membership experiences.
  • Participating and inputting towards food and beverage activities helping to build innovative activations for the restaurant.
  • Assist the HOD with developing and maintaining all department control procedures to ensure the safe delivery of all food and beverage related products in line with UK food safety and health and safety legislation.
  • Participating in vendor sourcing, quality control, budget management and inventory purchasing for the spaces.
  • Assist the HOD with completion of weekly scheduling ensuring labour costs are in line with budget.
  • Overseeing creation and development of all SOPs and standards.
  • Proactively work with the HOD to grow the business.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience managing a high-volume late-night venue in a luxury / lifestyle operation. You are an inspiring leader who relishes taking responsibility for running late night food and beverage teams and departments. Confident in using purchasing, health and safety and food safety, payroll and rota systems. Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage GP %, costings and budgeting is a must. Stays up to date with current late-night food and beverage trends and best practices. Experience in curating a calendar of interesting and creative events within a luxury lifestyle environment. Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club. Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members.
