Job Description

Veterinary Surgeon at Maison Dieu Vets, Dover – Up to Β£55,000 DOE

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us on a full time basis due to growth and development of the practice!

Recently moved into a new, purpose built brand new 3,800 square foot purpose-built building in the centre of Dover town, Maison Dieu offers a stunning practice that is all on one level and houses the latest veterinary facilities and equipment.

We are ideally searching for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our well established, passionate team.

What you will be doing:

  • Working 40 hours a week with 1:4 Saturdays – Open to part time
  • Working with two experienced certificate holding Veterinary Surgeons.
  • Supported by strong, long standing Nursing team with several certificate holders and highly competent in Schedule 3
  • Support in driving clinical standards and gold standard of Client Care.
  • If interested in Dental, leading in providing high standard dental care in specialised dental suite.

  • New, purpose built building with 4 consult rooms, dedicated cat consult room & Waiting area, dental suite, Xray suite, 2x theatre, and double prep area.
  • A high percentage of clients signed to the Healthy Pet Club.
  • A varied caseload with a mix of small animals, poultry and exotic – also working with an Exotic Certificate holder Vet.
