The purpose of the Retail Excellence Coach is to inspire, elevate, and empower our retail teams to deliver exceptional client experiences grounded in deep product knowledge and a passion for our olfactory universe.
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, this field-based role is pivotal in driving excellence in customer service, coaching and developing our teams, and contributing to the commercial success and brand storytelling across all regional Maison Crivelli retail spaces.
This role will be based from Manchester or Birmingham with regular travel (approximately 3–4 days per week) across the North area.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach Maison Crivelli brand ambassadors and retail partners to deliver an immersive, sensorial client experience that reflects the brand\’s ethos.
- Support business growth at point of sale by ensuring consistent execution of in-store activations, services, and brand animations.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess and elevate the client journey, sales techniques, storytelling, and product knowledge.
Education & Coaching
- Deliver in-store coaching and development sessions focused on Maison Crivelli’s unique fragrance universe, ingredients, and creation stories.
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous learning sessions to ensure retail teams remain engaged and knowledgeable.
- Champion a culture of curiosity, self-led learning, and retail excellence in collaboration with the Team Leaders and Business Manager.
- Ensure the proper application of visual merchandising guidelines to enhance in-store impact and support the brand’s storytelling.
Training Events & Brand Immersion
- Support the planning and execution of immersive retail training events for internal teams and external partners (from retailer own bought to personal and private shopping teams).
Strategic Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with Business Manager and Marketing & Training Coordinator to build and review regional training strategies and tailor actions to local needs.
- Track and measure the impact of training and coaching initiatives, adjusting where necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Use performance metrics (e.g. sales uplift, mystery shop results, team engagement, and internal store feedback) to assess the impact of coaching and inform future development strategies.”

Profile
- Proven experience in the luxury fragrance or beauty sector, with a strong retail background.
- Skilled in one-to-one coaching, team development, and client journey enhancement.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, confident in engaging with diverse audiences including retail partners, press, and VIPs.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving brand environment.
- Passionate about niche perfumery and eager to share and deepen knowledge of olfactive artistry.
