Be our Project Renovations Specialist but most importantly be you! Voted into the Times 100 best places to stay 2024, our beautiful hotel is nestled within 30 acres of glorious Wiltshire countryside. The whimsical country house hotel offers gregarious rooms, a huge spa and a brand new restaurant that blend refined Georgian elegance with delicious bright colours; imaginative with a dollop of fun.

What’s it like to work with us? We’re not your average country house hotel. Think grand chandeliers, bold wallpapers, statement furniture, and a whole lot of personality. We’re about to renovate 10–12 of our unique bedrooms – and we need a skilled all-rounder to help bring the owner’s creative (and often delightfully quirky) vision to life.

You’ll be hands‑on with every stage of the renovation – from carpentry and tiling to a bit of plumbing and decorative finishing. One day you might be hanging wallpaper with exotic prints, the next fitting a chandelier or installing custom‑built furniture.

In return what you’ll be doing as Projects Renovations Specialist:

  • Work closely with the owner and management team to carry out renovations from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail in every space.
  • Focused on cost‑effective, efficient working practices.
  • Carry out high-quality carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, and general renovation work across 10–12 guest bedrooms.
  • Install fixtures and fittings, including bespoke furniture, chandeliers, wall coverings, and other design elements.
  • Prepare and finish surfaces, including painting, wallpapering, and decorative work, to exact specifications.
  • Work to the owner’s instructions, ensuring their creative and often unconventional design vision is realised.
  • Coordinate with any external contractors or suppliers as needed.
  • Manage timelines and work efficiently to ensure rooms are completed on schedule.
