Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and presentation of the hotel. You’ll be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities
- Assist with preventative maintenance schedules
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
- Support external contractors when required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or general repairs
