Job Summary

To develop, strengthen and streamline the reporting, planning and commercial support activities within one team by leveraging cooperation and the synergies across those activities. The ultimate purpose focuses on the provision of timely, accurate and appropriate financial and non-financial decision support information to the board, executive and senior management teams, as well as supporting revenue growth and margin expansion. Strong member of the finance organisation, developing into a strong business partner to business leaders and deputising for the CFO as required.

Role Responsibilities

• Key business partner to the Maintel leadership team (EMT and SMT) to support business decisions
• Strengthening the practises at Group level, and streamlining the activities across the 3 teams
• Rolling out the FP&A processes and best practices across all business lines, including planning tools, and standard analysis reports
• In charge of the planning processes (5 Year Plan, Budget, Forecast), creates and maintains the LT and ST planning model, allowing scenario planning
• Runs performance and decision support analysis, including the monthly Board pack
• Implement best practices from leading organisations
• Introduces commercial analysis of in depth margins analysis at granular level
• Able to challenge the status quo and able to reflect on the current KPIs and way of reporting the Group performance, to propose enhancements
• Drives the improvement of the reporting and predictability and accuracy of estimations
• Develops reporting and analysis tools to provide visibility on product and project margins
• Leads the evolution towards an improved and upgraded Board reporting pack
• Drives the timely issuance of the reporting information to all key stakeholders
• Provides leadership to the FP&A team, develops the teams, and makes the relevant organisational decisions and changes
• Ability to deputise for the CFO as relevant

Experience & Qulaifications

Essential
• Qualified Accountant with current technical knowledge or strong academic
background
• Prior FP&A experience with recurring revenue businesses models (managed services, SaaS is desirable)
• Excellent modelling skills and prior modelling experience required
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent analytical skills
• Credibility and confidence to deal with executive and senior management.


Desirable
• Experience working within the telecommunications or similar sector
