Maintel is seeking a proactive, commercially driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate new business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high‑value prospects. As a key member of the Growth team, you will leverage modern sales technologies, intent intelligence, and structured qualification methodologies to create high‑quality pipeline opportunities for our sales organisation. You will play a critical role in engaging senior IT and business decision‑makers, building meaningful relationships, and helping organisations understand how Maintel’s technology solutions can support their business transformation goals. Role Purpose

  • Generate new business opportunities and build a qualified sales pipeline to support revenue growth.
  • Identify and engage target accounts using platforms such as 6sense, Salesloft, Salesforce CRM, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Qualify prospects using frameworks such as B.A.N.T and MEDDPICC to identify high‑quality sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to execute successful account‑based campaigns.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and position Maintel's technology solutions effectively.
  • Support sales growth through strategic prospecting and targeted outreach activities.

  • Deliver high‑quality, well‑qualified opportunities through effective discovery and qualification, with a focus on quality over quantity.
  • Maintain consistent daily prospecting activity across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams, providing feedback to improve lead quality, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain excellent CRM hygiene, ensuring all activities, insights, and opportunity information are accurately captured.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs relating to engagement, qualified meetings, pipeline contribution, opportunity creation, and conversion.
  • Continuously refine prospecting techniques and outreach strategies to improve engagement and sales outcomes.
  • Bring creativity and innovative thinking to prospecting and account engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and qualify target accounts to create high‑quality sales opportunities.
  • Conduct daily outreach activities through cold calling, personalised email campaigns, social selling, and account‑based sales initiatives.
  • Utilise sales engagement platforms, CRM systems, and intent‑data tools to prioritise accounts and maximise prospect engagement.
  • Apply qualification methodologies such as B.A.N.T and MEDDPICC to ensure opportunities align with sales requirements and business objectives.
  • Build and execute personalised, multi‑channel prospecting strategies tailored to individual accounts, industries, and buyer personas.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to improve lead quality, campaign performance, and conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed targets for qualified meetings, opportunities created, and pipeline generation.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospects and represent Maintel professionally at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Maintel’s portfolio, including Cloud Communications (UCaaS), Contact Centre Solutions (CCaaS), Customer Experience (CX), Managed Services, Connectivity, Cyber Security, Digital Workplace, and Cloud Transformation Solutions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Previous experience as a BDR, SDR, Inside Sales Executive, Lead Generation Executive, or similar B2B sales role.
  • Experience within technology, telecoms, SaaS, cloud, managed services, or related sectors.
  • Practical knowledge of CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience using sales engagement and prospecting tools such as Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6sense or similar intent‑data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of qualification methodologies including B.A.N.T and MEDDPICC.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute personalised, account‑based, multi‑channel prospecting campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and digital channels.
  • Ability to create compelling and personalised messaging based on industry challenges, business priorities, and buyer personas.
  • Excellent questioning, discovery, and objection‑handling skills.
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven approach to prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Comfortable engaging and influencing senior‑level stakeholders.
