Contract Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Outside IR35
Location: Telford
Rate: £38.00 per hour
Contract Length: 2 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10‑hour days (50 hours per week)
Status: Outside IR35
Start Date: Week commencing 13th July 2026
The Role
As a Contract Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime across the site. Equipment includes:
- Industrial robotics
- CNC machinery
- Mechanical and hydraulic presses
- Automated assembly equipment
- Conveyors and associated production machinery
Skills & Experience Required
- Time‑served Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
- Previous experience within automotive or highly automated manufacturing environments
- Excellent electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on robotics, CNC machinery, presses and automated production equipment
- PLC fault‑finding and interrogation experience would be advantageous
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- Own tools and PPE
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
