We are looking for an office manager for this growing construction business in Ludlow, working closely with the Managing Director and the surveying team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of behind the scenes operations. We are looking for someone proactive who has good communication skills and has worked in a similar environment. We are open to taking someone on a part time basis who is looking for hours around the school run or working a 3 day week.
The benefits of this Office Manager's role include:
- Basic salary of GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 PA (pro rata for part time)
- Operating hours Monday to Friday, 40 - 25 hour working week
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays pro-rata for part time
- Standard pension
The role of an office manager includes:
- Ordering and organization of materials
- Ensuring the right plant & equipment is on site when needed
- Organizing rotas and confirming manpower
- Checking compliance documents and ensuring all permits are in date
- Chasing documents and flagging any non-conformities
- Completion and submission of tender documents
- Maintaining visibility of live jobs, orders, deliveries, and hand-overs
- Owning all office and depot operational systems, including health and safety and people infrastructure
- Playing a key role in incrementally improving operational processes
