A FMCG business based in Nottingham has a new vacancy for a Project Engineer.

To manage projects in accordance with the CAPEX project plan and ensure all company policies are adhered to, including Health and Safety in the implementation of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead CAPEX projects.
  • Manage small-medium sized projects independently, ensuring safe and efficient project implementation.
  • Keep project documentation up to date as required.
  • Budget Management.
  • Monitor and control contractors to ensure safe and effective working, ensuring induction documentation is completed and contractors are controlled.
  • Liaise with the site engineering team to ensure effective communication of project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate project programmes and requirements to the business stakeholders.
  • Keep project stakeholders up to date with project progress.
  • Take charge and implement project mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • Help design machinery and systems including building updates as required.
  • Investigate new machinery and technology that could be used throughout the business.
  • Keep up to date with food technology and production research and development in the industry, attending exhibitions and shows as required.
  • Train production team members as required in the implementation of projects.
