Due to expansion this family owned business in Corby are looking for an mechanical fitter, working Monday β Friday in a field based role the majority of its customers are within a 60 mile radius of Corby, which mean\βs you will rarely have to stay away. In this role, youβll be involved in a variety of tasks, including onsite belt installation, manufacturing belts in our workshop, performing mechanical work, conducting surveys, and even some driving and creating conveyor inspection reports. Itβs all about teamwork and bringing your skills to our family. You will need a full uk driving licence with no more than 6 points to be considered in this role and a level 2 mechanical qualification as a minimum. The role as a mechanical fitter; Traveling to customers sites installing new parts Working in the workshop manufacturing conveyor belts Conducting repairs Working to engineering drawings The ability to provide call outs For those occasional late-night jobs, we ensure you have an 11-hour rest period if you finish after 11 PM The skills and qualifications required in the Belt Fitters Role; Full UK driving licence Mechanical qualification β Minimum of a level 2 Good communication skills Flexibilty and a willingness to pick up overtime The package for this Mechanical fitters role; Working week β Monday β Friday 7am-4.30pm Basic salary of Β£32,000 β Β£38,000 pa with on-target earnings of Β£50,000 pa Paid overtime 1.5x Bonus for call outs with a minimum of 3 hours paid regardless of how long you are onsite.
