We are recruiting for a facilities engineer/handyman for this family-owned building maintenance business in Cannock. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for maintaining various client sites across the UK & Ireland. Responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks. You will be expected to be versatile, with multiple duties and responsibilities, including:

  • Plumbing: To resolve basic problems such as installing new taps, sinks and toilets, and repairing leaks.
  • Electrical: replacing bulbs, rewiring sockets, installing alarms, security cameras.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: fire doors, hanging shelves, safety signage, replacing carpets or other hardwood and laminate.

Qualifications and skills required in this Facilities role:

  • The ability to commute.
  • 18th edition & test and inspect.
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Driving licence would be an advantage but not essential.

The benefits of this facilities maintenance role:

  • Field based Monday - Friday 40 hour week.
  • £30,000 - £38,000 pa depending on experience.
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Nest pension.
