Quality FAIRS Technician AS9102 / Aerospace Manufacturing Location; Newport We are working with an established provider of advanced electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and PCB technologies, supplying high-reliability electronics into the aerospace, defence, industrial automation and medical technology sectors. The site is part of a growing international group, with recent expansion and strategic partnerships driving increased aerospace and defence output and a strong focus on quality, compliance and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for a Quality professional with AS9102 experience who is looking to become a subject matter expert within a growing, high-reliability manufacturing environment. Working within the Quality function, you will be responsible for the accurate creation and verification of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), in line with aerospace and customer-specific requirements. You will complete Forms 1, 2 and 3 using customer data packs, drawings and the internal ERP system, interpret PCB and mechanical drawings, and maintain AS9100 traceability throughout. The role works cross-functionally across the business, providing objective evidence of compliance and identifying non-conformances to support the wider Quality Management System. This role would suit a detail-oriented Quality professional from an aerospace background who is confident interpreting technical drawings and can communicate compliance evidence and reasoning clearly. It would suit someone looking to establish themselves as the site's go-to expert in AS9102 documentation, with genuine scope to grow as the business expands.
