Due to winning a new long term contract with a leading retailer, this family-owned bakery in Nottingham are expanding the maintenance team and moving to a 24 hour a day production operation.
The company has seen significant re-investment over the last 18 months with the introduction of a new line, and new warehouse facility the business is growing from strength to strength. Its a great time to join the business with a current maintenance team of 5, moving this to 7. We are looking for an engineer on a permanent MondayFriday nights pattern.
The role is really interesting and varied, with project work, a focus on planned and preventative maintenance, and a wide mix of machinery, the business offers a good level of flexibility and cares about its team.

The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Reactive & planned maintenance
- Updating & introduction of stores, spares etc.
- Looking after bakery assets & Facilities
- Working as part of a small team
- Shift hand over & liaising with production staff
Qualifications & skills required to become a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Minimum of a level 3 NVQ, BTEC City & Guilds equivalent
- Mechanical or Electrical bias If Mechanical you must be electrically competent.
- 3 years hands on maintenance experience within an FMCG environment.
- Be based in the UK with the relevant rights to work.
Benefits for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer includes:
- Nights Shift; Monday-Friday β 9pm β 5am Basic Β£50,000
- 1:5 Saturday Cover paid at time & a quarter (12pm β 8pm)
- Double Days Shift; 1 st week:
- Monday Friday 5am-1pm 2 nd week 1pm -9pm
- 1:5 Saturday Cover paid at time & a quarter (5am -1pm)
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Working within a well-established team
