We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join in Crewe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for our clients' equipment and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise within a professional environment, contributing to the optimisation of client operations through effective service delivery. The Service Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and efficient solutions, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Attend sites across the UK
- Support our after sales and breakdown department when available
- Be prepared to stay away from home when required
- Supporting strategically placed engineers nationwide, nights away will be minimised where possible
- Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
- Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer signature
- Return all completed site reports and time sheets in a timely fashion
- Be a good ambassador for the company, promoting all products and services
- Ensure all materials and tools are available before leaving and complete works within time frames
- Communicate at all levels
- Be responsible for petty cash and credit card
- Identify training needs
Qualifications of a Service Engineer
- Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671)
- C&G Level 3 - Initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations
