Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 Driver - Days to join their agency for an ongoing role based near Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established agency with a great history who are looking for long term coverage with their client in the recycling industry.
The role entails (but is not limited to):
- General haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper.
- Delivering to hubs in various locations.
- Shifts will be an average of 12 hours long.
- Full time or part time hours available.
- This role is mostly driving but will involve some strapping and operation of the curtain.
A successful candidate will have:
- Full Class 1 licence with a minimum of 1 years' recent experience.
- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
- No more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsement codes.
- A great knowledge of rules and regulations within HGV driving.
- Good roadcraft and geographical knowledge.
The hourly rate for this position is:
- Monday to Friday: £16.42
- Saturdays: £24.63
- Sundays and Bank Holidays: £32.84
This will be paid on a weekly basis. Holiday allowance is accrued on top of this rate. This position is ongoing and can be flexible.
