We are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to work for our client in Tamworth. Limited company drivers can be accepted for this position.
Start times are between 5am and 6am each day. You will have 1-3 deliveries on a flat bed trailer per shift. There is no handball involved; however, safe and secure strapping will be required for all collections and deliveries. You will be covering the full length and breadth of the country and will spend 4 nights out every week. There is also the opportunity for occasional weekend work at an increased rate if you want it.
When working in this position, drivers can expect to earn around £1,300 per week, with more if you work an extra shift on a Saturday.
To be eligible for this position, you must have 12 months Class 1 experience, no more than 6 points, and ideally, experience with flatbed or similar trailers.
