Job Description: Your responsibilities will include:
- Tramping: Regular long-distance driving, staying away from home for overnight trips.
- Strapping: Ensuring loads are securely strapped to the flat bed and compliant with safety standards.
- Deliveries & Collections: Transporting goods to various locations across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keeping your vehicle in a clean and safe condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Documentation: Completing delivery paperwork, including logs and vehicle checks.
- Compliance: Adhering to all transport regulations, including driving hours and health & safety protocols.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid HGV License (C+E) and CPC qualification.
- Experience with strapping flat bed trailers.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and road safety.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
- Flexibility to work away from home as required.
- A professional and courteous manner with clients and colleagues.
