We are recruiting for Permanent HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to work for our client in Derby. Your duties will include inter-depot trunking using a refrigerated double decker trailer. You will typically have 2 deliveries per shift but on occasion this may only be one delivery. There is no handball involved and you will drive a brand new Mercedes vehicle.
The company offers fantastic earning potential due to extremely high hourly rates, which are as follows:
- Basic Hours - £17.51 per hour
- Overtime - £26.27 per hour (paid after 39 hours in any working week)
- Sunday - £35.05 per hour
- PAID BREAKS - No deductions from your hours
Holidays are paid on top of this (no rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay). There are two shift patterns available: 5 on, 3 off or Sunday-Thursday. You will work on average 8-10 hours per shift.
To be eligible for this position, you will need:
- To have held a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Category C+E/Class 1 driving license for at least 1 year (with a maximum of 6 penalty points)
- An up-to-date Driver CPC card and training
- Excellent knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations
- To meet the shift availability requirements for this vacancy
