Location: RAF Lakenheath (covering Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday + 1 in 6/7 Rota On-Call with some Weekend Work

Mainstay Recruitment are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Heating Engineer to join our clients team delivering essential maintenance and repair services across key RAF sites in the region. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair commercial heating systems, including oil and LPG/gas boilers.
  • Deliver both planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs to meet service level agreements.
  • Self-schedule work using a tablet-based system.
  • Ensure assets are compliant, energy-efficient, and functioning within design specifications.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and functional plant rooms and technical spaces.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and site personnel to deliver a high standard of service.
