Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated M&E Engineer with AP experience to join our prestigious client’s team, working across multiple MOD sites in the North West. If you’re passionate about safety, compliance, and making a tangible impact, this is the role for you.
As an M&E Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of our contractual obligations, ensuring full compliance with MOD standards (JSP375). Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Assessing and supporting the competence of Skilled Persons
- Providing expert technical advice to site teams and stakeholders
- Supporting MOD carbon reduction initiatives through technical solutions
- Supervising and mentoring staff to uphold high safety and quality standards
- Liaising with senior management and external partners to ensure project success
- Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of all estate operations
For this role you will need to have the below experience and qualifications:
- A recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- AP tickets in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Solid experience with Safe Systems of Work and JSP375 compliance
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and solve complex problems
- Confidence working independently across multiple sites
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to join an on-call rota when required
