Role: Factory Operative Salary: £11.44 per hour Hours: Days, 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 13:30 Friday Location: West Bromwich We are currently recruiting for an Facotry Operative for a temp to perm with our client in West Bromwich. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the shop floor is kept clean, tidy and manufacturing processes are able to continue to run smoothly. Duties • General upkeep and organisation of the factory/shop floor • Assisting with moving material/stock • Being responsible for a clean and organised shop floor • Collaborate with team members to help production run smoothly • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Experience • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. • You MUST be open to cleaning the factory the majority of your day – this ensures there are no production issues and ensures good quality finishes • Experience in assembly processes is advantageous but not mandatory. • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and processes is highly valued.
