HGV Class 2 Drivers - Permanent - Days
Our client, based in Bickenhill near Birmingham Airport, is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a permanent basis, with immediate starts available.
Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply. A positive, can-do attitude and good physical fitness are more important than extensive driving experience, as the role involves manual handling.
The role:
- Monday to Friday - days only
- Start times between 05:30 and 07:00
- Typical finish times between 14:30 and 16:30
- No weekends or bank holidays
- Permanent position
- £16.33 per hour
- Bonuses available for collections made at delivery points once full-time
You will be responsible for delivering flooring products to warehouses, large stores and distribution centres. There are no residential deliveries.
You will typically complete 12-20 deliveries per day, with manual handling involved at delivery points. Applicants therefore need to be physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Class 2 driver looking to build valuable experience, as well as experienced drivers looking for a permanent position with regular Monday-Friday hours and a good work/life balance.
