About the Role

Mainstay Recruitment are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Area Manager to lead service delivery across the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA) estate throughout East Anglia. This role is ideal for a strong operational leader with experience in facilities management, estates maintenance, or service delivery environments who is passionate about operational excellence, people leadership, and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across the RFCA portfolio, including:
    • Planned and reactive maintenance
    • Grounds maintenance
    • Statutory compliance and risk management
    • Operational performance against KPIs and service standards
    • Delivery of capital works and improvement projects

You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and supply chain partners to drive continuous improvement, maintain high operational standards, and ensure excellent customer service across the estate. The role also involves:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing operational teams
  • Managing performance, budgets
