We are looking for an experienced Chartered Valuation Surveyor to join our Southampton Valuation team, playing a key role in delivering first-class valuation advice and helping to grow our business across the South Coast region.
About the Role
You will be part of an established and supportive valuation team, undertaking a range of commercial property valuations for loan security, balance sheet, and other purposes. You will take ownership of your own instructions, maintain trusted client relationships, and contribute to developing new business opportunities in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely valuation reports across a variety of commercial property types.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring excellent service.
- Undertake valuation appraisals using Argus and Excel.
- Help identify and secure new valuation instructions from both existing and prospective clients.
- Represent the business professionally and promote our full range of property services.
About You
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent) with solid experience in commercial property valuations.
- Skilled in writing clear, high-quality valuation reports.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and Argus (or similar) software.
- Commercially minded, confident, and client-focused.
- Organised, enthusiastic, and able to manage your workload effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
